The Goal of FHP is to Improve Air Traffic Safety

The research network for Air Transport Pilot training is a registered non-profit association with the goal of participating in the improvement of air traffic safety.

FHP is an interdisciplinary working group comprised of scientists, air transport pilots, flight instructors, airline employees, as well as representatives from pilot associations, aviation administration and air traffic control from German-speaking countries.

FHP was founded in 1996, originating from the working group Research Network for “University Pilot Training” under the leadership of Prof. Dr. G. Faber. The working group wrote the expertise used as basis to establish the International Degree in Aviation Systems Engineering and Management (ILST) at the University of Applied Sciences Bremen.
