Air Traffic Safety

The research network for Air Transport Pilot training is a registered non-

with the goal of participating in the improvement of air
traffic safety.

FHP is an interdisciplinary working group comprised of scientists, air transport pilots,
flight instructors,
airline employees, as well as representatives from pilot associations,
aviation administration and air
traffic control from German-speaking countries.

FHP was founded in 1996, originating from the working group Research Network for
“University Pilot
Training” under the leadership of Prof. Dr. G. Faber. The working group
wrote the expertise used as basis
